Beef consumption decreases and alternative meat grows

A study conducted by the livestock sector and presented at the rural fair, indicated that the consumption of meat amounted to 118 kilograms per capita in the country, and that the total bill for the five main meats amounted to 24 thousand million US dollars annually.

At the same time, it was noted that there was a decrease in the consumption of the vaccine, but this was offset by the intake of other reductions.

The sector considers this to be the moment of consumption of “alternative” meat.
