
Kia Announces 2023 Niro Hybrid Prices
The hybrid powertrain was an upgrade from last year: the 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine pairs with a 32-liter electric motor that makes 139 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. What does not go away is its price, which is rising this year. LX Entry Base Price. The Niro hybrid is also available in the mid-tier EX model ($30,385) and the high-end SX trim ($33,785).
For that extra money come plenty of additional standard safety features, including forward collision avoidance with pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, following lane assist, driver collision warning, blind spot collision avoidance with parallel exit, and rear cross traffic alert. Options include Intelligent Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Navigation-based Curve Reduction, as well as Highway Driving Assist II, a semi-autonomous driving assistance system that combines lane change assist, forward collision avoidance and Intelligent Cruise Control.
Kia says the 2023 Niro hybrid is hitting dealers now and will be available in all 50 states; Pricing has not yet been released for the PHEV or EV versions.
