2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost Haunts the Streets at Last Call

2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost Haunts the Streets at Last Call The penultimate special edition of the Last Call Dodge is the 2023 Challenger Black Ghost, a tribute to the legendary 1970 Challenger R/T SE famous for winning drag races on Woodward Avenue in Detroit before driving and fading for months at a time. The new Black Ghost will be based on the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, powered by a supercharged V-8 engine with up to 807 horsepower; This would make him able to win many of his drag races (although, please, don’t race on public streets).

On the outside, the 2023 Challenger Black Ghost pays homage to its predecessor with a black and chrome color scheme, including black decals and a “crocodile skin” vinyl roof covering to mimic the original “crocodile” vinyl roof. White rear fender graphics and 20-inch wheels and hood pins from Mopar complete the look.

Inside, like other Last Call models, the Black Ghost has Laguna leather and Alcantara upholstery. The Black Ghost badge on the carbon fiber dashboard and trims helps decorate the interior, as does the Alcantara steering wheel with the red SRT emblem.

Dodge will make only 300 examples of the 2023 Challenger Black Ghost. Interested buyers will be able to go to find examples (from Black Ghost or any other Challenger or Charger), and then contact specific agencies to place an order. Prices should be available later in the year.

Dodge will unveil the seventh and final special edition of the Last Call at the Specialty Equipment Association Show in Las Vegas, scheduled for November 1-4.
