2023 Genesis Electrified G80 Priced at Just Over $80,000 While it grabbed most of the headlines, else Perhaps the all-electric Genesis has slipped under your radar: the Electrified G80. Based on the G80 sedan, the Electrified G80 gets something of a soft launch in the US, with only one trim level and no options beyond the exterior and interior upholstery color options. Prices will start at $80,920 (including destination but excluding any federal, state, or local tax incentives).

Using a 136 kilowatt electric motor on each axle, the Electrified G80 comes standard with all-wheel drive. Genesis estimates the power at 365 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. As of this writing, the total range has not been approved by the EPA; However, the manufacturer estimates it to be around 282 miles.

Genesis says the Electrified G80’s 87.2 kWh battery can charge from 10% to 80% in less than 22 minutes when using 350 kWh. A full charge can be achieved using a 240V home charger at 48A in 7 hours 22 minutes. The Electrified G80 is also able to charge the vehicle for load, which means it can charge or power other electrical appliances.

Additional standard features include the Genesis’ Highway Driving Assist safety package, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Nappa leather upholstery, three-zone automatic climate control with heated and ventilated front seats, a head-up display and more.

Like the GV60, the Electrified G80 will only be sold in California, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York initially, with sales beginning in Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Washington in September.
