2023 Lexus LC 500, LC 500h Get Updated Suspensions, Minor Price Hike

2023 Lexus LC 500, LC 500h Get Updated Suspensions, Minor Price Hike Big coupes and big two-door convertibles may be out of fashion, but the Lexus LC 500 and LC 500h entered 2023 with minimal updates and a modest price increase. Lexus says it has readjusted the suspension – though – to improve dynamic handling. The LC will also join the list of 2023 models with 10-year subscriptions to Lexus Connected Services, but nothing has changed other than the number after the dollar sign: No matter what model or body style, 2023s will carry a sticker price above $300 in 2022.

what’s new?

Lexus doesn’t reveal exactly what it did with the suspension, but said in a statement that the settings were “optimized to enhance the feel of contact with the ground, linear steering response and steering effectiveness in the high-cornering range of G.” Convertible tuning differs due to its additional weight compared to a coupe. The coupe also offers a sport package that adds a Torsen limited-slip rear differential and performance brake linings, as well as Alcantara seats in the cabin.

The convertible also gets a new, lighter-weight soft top cover, and the brand says the available Lexus Climate Concierge with upper body heating is more advanced for 2023: the system automatically controls different climate functions — from the air vents to the heated steering wheel and seats to Convertible neck warmers – in an effort to maintain an ideal temperature in the cabin even with the top down.
