An 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard on the 2023 Frontier; 9 inch screen is available. Wireless charging is an option on the Pro variants. In terms of safety features, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, trailer sway control, driver awareness sensor and tailgate alert. Nissan is available on all models and adds more advanced technologies such as Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking and Blind Spot Warning.

2023 Nissan Frontier Starting Price Climbs Above $30,000
The 2023 Frontier is on sale now and sees a $500 increase in most trim compared to the 2022 model; The tall-cab SV with the new Comfort package increased $1,430, while the Pro models were up $600. 4WD adds $3,200 to the starting price for King Cab models and $3,000 for all crew cabs except for the Pro-4X, which comes with standard all-wheel drive. All prices include a destination fee of $1,295.

The S Frontier trim gets standard fabric seats, 16-inch wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen, and a four-speaker audio system; SV upgrades include 17-inch painted aluminum-alloy wheels, premium cloth upholstery and a six-speaker audio system. Pro variants get unique 17-inch alloy wheels with a red center cap, LED headlights, available leather upholstery, a 9-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation and a 10-speaker premium audio system.

The 2022 Frontier update prepared it to better compete against mid-size competitors like the Chevrolet Colorado, Ford Ranger and Toyota Tacoma. Now that it’s on a more level playing field when it comes to value, the Frontier’s starting price is also in line with the competition: starting at $27,630, $27,895 and 2023 at $30,415.
