Affected vehicles include 2015-2017 model year expeditions and navigators. The front fan motor located behind the glove box, a component that helps operate the defroster and air conditioning system, may fail. Such a malfunction can increase the risk of fire inside the vehicle.

The treatment is straightforward: Dealers will replace the front fan motor assembly for free.
