Kia Commemorates End of Stinger With Tribute Edition

The Kia Stinger has helped the automaker rewrite the narrative of its range of cars when it was. Formerly known for vehicles that focused on value rather than driving excitement, Kia upended the scenario with the Stinger, making a strong first impression in both driving dynamics and style. However, the South Korean company is calling time on the car after 2023 and saying goodbye to the 2023 Stinger Tribute Edition.

Based on the GT2 model, the 2023 Stinger Tribute adds black accents and a choice of two colors: Ascot Green and the new Moonscape Gray matte. The Tribute Edition also comes with black 19-inch wheels, black mirrors and black Brembo brake calipers. The sedan’s interior features brown leather seats and door panels, as well as carbon fiber trim on the door panels and center console. The headrests come emblazoned with a wasp symbol, a subtle nod to the nameplate.

The underpinnings carry over from the rest of the Stinger lineup, with Tribute Editions getting the GT2’s 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 368 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Only 1,000 units of the 2023 Stinger Tribute Edition will be produced globally, 400 of which will come to US pricing information that wasn’t immediately available, but look for Kia to release those details closer to its official launch.
