Two new light off-road packages, the more serious X-Line and X-Pro, give the Telluride a more aggressive exterior and slightly improve its off-road prowess. However, the powertrain is still a 3.8-liter V-6 with 291 horsepower.

The 2023 Telluride is available in four models: LX, S, EX and SX. All four trims are available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive for an additional $2,000. Pricing before adding option or AWD packages is below:

  • LX: $37,025
  • s: $38925
  • Previous: $42,625
  • SX: $46,825

The Prestige package, available on the AWD SX, costs $2900 and adds premium upholstery and additional comfort and convenience features, including a 10-inch head-up display. The new X-Line package, available in AWD versions of the EX ($2,195) and SX ($1,395), adds roof rails, 20-inch wheels, an additional tow drive mode with trailer sway control and a modified traction control system. The SX’s tougher X-Pro package ($2395) adds smaller 18-inch wheels and all-terrain tires. Both X packages increase the Telluride’s towing capacity by 500 pounds to 5500. The Prestige and X-Pro packages can be combined into the SX for the ultimate luxury off-roader Telluride.

Meanwhile, the range-topping SX-Prestige X-Pro starts at $54,120. With the new pricing, the Telluride 2023 is more expensive than its predecessor and closer in price to the updated Toyota Highlander 2023. Hyundai Palisade 2023, also updated, is.
