2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee Counts to 1320

2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee Counts to 1320 On the heels of the limited-edition 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown, comes the 2023 Dodge Charger Super B, the second of seven “Last Call” special editions the brand has unveiled to celebrate the last model year of its powerful Charger and Challenger cars. The Charger Super B pays tribute to the 1968 Coronet Super Bee—and the first Super Bee Charger in 1971—and offers a convenient towbar setup straight from the showroom floor.

The Charger Super Bee will be limited to 1,000 units, half of which are buyable and half not, just like Challenger Shakedown (we’re sensing a feature). The Widebodies will be painted in Plum Crazy, while the rest will have a B5 Blue coat. Both versions get Super Bee graphics on the hood and rear fenders (UV white and blue over blue), along with Super Bee logo on the front fenders and grille.

Based on the Charger Scat Pack, the Super Bee ramps up performance with a functional hood scoop surrounded by heat extractors and 275 sections of radial intake on 20-inch wheels (regular body) or 315-section-wide intake rubber on 18-inch wheels (purchased) . Adaptive suspension with tow mode should help owners set impressive quarter-mile times. Stopping power is provided by Brembo brand red brakes. For added performance aesthetics, the hood is held in place by black hood pins, and the exhaust tips are black as well.

“The Dodge Super B is more than just a reminder of a great heritage name – it’s also a Charger version of the Challenger 1320 base racing package,” said Tim Kuniskis, CEO of the Dodge brand, in a statement. “The 2023 Special Edition Dodge Charger Super B once again introduces a Dodge that’s right at home on the street or on the drag track.”
